Dutch Railway KidsApp: Encourage parents and children to have real interaction during a train ride. Join Oei & Knoei on their Big Crazy Train Ride. This comic furry duo lost each other and it is your job to bring them back together by filming your own adventure movie, using Augmented Reality and Motion Tracking technology.

This short video explains this crazy project. Take a look and see how we transformed an ordinary train ride into an interactive adventure in which kids and parents became directors, cameramen and actors.

Oei & Knoei are the main characters and they play a major role in the movie. By using advanced augmented reality and motion tracking, users are able to play with them in the real world using their mobile device. Building it is not that easy, but using it is literally child’s play.  Just select your favourite scene, start filming and your animated co-actors will appear.
